I HAD a wry smile on my face when Theresa May said we would be free of plastic waste by 2042.

Given that the grass verges and open areas of Glasgow look like one giant landfill site full of bottles and containers, it will take until 2042 just to clean this city up, never mind Britain.. Andy Lanigan, Bishopbriggs
