GORDON PARKS ANSWERS YOUR CALLS THE identity of the new Scotland manager remains a mystery but that age-old argument about Scott Brown continuing his international career continues to rage.

callers are up in arms over the Celtic skipper’s intention to tell whoever takes charge that he’ll assess his availability on a month-to-month basis.

said: “Here we go again with Brown and the Scotland saga. I’m bored with it.

“It’s a disrespect from him to once again try to dictate when he makes himself available for the national side. He should be thanked for his services and told his time is up.

“Maybe I’m missing something but did he help lead us to any major finals during the last decade or so that he’s been playing for his country? No. I thought not.”

said: “The SFA need look no further than Brown for the manager’s position. He could easily become player-manager because he practically picks the team at the moment with his ‘I’ll play when I feel like it’ attitude.

“He could sort out the players’ diet as he has experience of some great Scottish ‘al fresco’ dining, there would be no fear of another Boozegate and absolutely no problem with discipline or bias towards other team’s players.

“To me it’s a no-brainer, so come on, let’s give Scotty the job and let him play well into his 50s just like Stanley Matthews.”

said: “Brown says he’ll assess his Scotland future on a monthly basis. The next manager should make it easier for him by not selecting him. Brown in a Scotland jersey is the same as the team being a man short.” said: “It’s ridiculous Brown thinks he can pick and choose his games with Scotland. Would he treat Celtic the same way or tell Brendan Rodgers where and when he wants to play? “The next Scotland manager should politely tell him
