Paul ready for dream date with Gers stars
PAUL CAMPBELL is getting used to lining up dream dates with the great loves of his life.
Not content with preparing for a Scottish Cup giantkilling quest against boyhood heroes Rangers, the Fraserburgh frontman proposed to partner Tiffani Bruce on New Year’s Day.
Five days later he scored four in a 7-0 league victory over Fort William – all in an incredible 16-minute sub’s appearance.
Now Campbell hopes to seal his place in the starting side against Rangers by impressing away to Inverurie today.
The Fraserburgh striker said: “It was some week. Tiffani’s father is from the Broch so that made running the big question by him a bit easier.
“The fact I play for Fraserburgh certainly helps! I then topped the week off by scoring four times against Fort. It took my tally for the season to 20. I’m chuffed with that and now I’m hoping I can get the nod against Rangers.”
