Dale: The point is we’re still loving it

-

JAMES DALE insists Brechin are revelling in their Championship experience despite failing to win a single game all season.

City have picked up only four points in 20 matches, all draws at Glebe Park.

But there are no calls for the head of boss Darren Dods who took them from the foot of League One to the second tier in two seasons.

And ahead of today’s visit from Livingston, midfielder Dale said: “There shouldn’t be a question over the manager as he has been tremendous for the club.

“There have been several games when we deserved to come away with points.

“We’re trying to implement a positive mindset. It’s weird – even though results aren’t going our way everyone still seems to be enjoying it.”

Livi dropped out the playoff slots last week on goal difference and boss David Hopkin slammed Craig Halkett’s defending in the defeat by Queen of the South.

But Halkett said: “The gaffer is not one to dwell on mistakes. It was frustration more than anything at the manner in which we lost.

“Brechin is a massive game. They’ll be desperate for their first win and everyone at Livingston is equally keen it won’t be against us.”
