Pile-up of fixtures is fine if wins continue

JOHN SHERAN wants more cup heroics – even though it could add to the fixture chaos for Cove Rangers.

Cove face Turriff today in the Aberdeenshire Shield, semi-final knowing victory would add to rescheduling headaches after a flurry of postponements.

The leaders still have 14 league games left as well as Tuesday’s Scottish Cup tie against Formartine.

Cove boss Sheran said: “I’m maybe getting ahead of myself a wee bit because we still have the semi-final to play – but how we are going to fit a final in?

“With the games we’ve got, if we stay in the League Cup we’ve no free Wednesdays or Saturdays.

“But we’ve got to get to these finals first before worrying about that. The focus is to get there and then we’ll see what that brings.” FIXTURES
