Ron&Co faceReal toughgig

-

IT could be the final before the quarter-finals as Real Madrid and PSG face off tonight.

Real paid the price for failing to win their Champions League group by being paired with PSG but the French would have expected an easier tie after topping Celtic’s section.

Barcelona v PSG is possibly the only match-up that would be more exciting and the eyes of the world will be on the Bernabeu.

Real’s problems have been well documented and they trail Barca by 17 points while PSG are strolling towards another title.

PSG are worthy favourites to qualify at 8-11 with Ladbrokes while Real are 13-10 at Marathonbet.

To win tonight Real are 7-5 with McBookie and PSG 19-10 at William Hill but I’m on a draw (14-5, McBookie).

Zinedine Zidane’s men have shown signs of returning to their best in recent weeks and have netted 19 in five games – but that included drawing against Levante and a cup defeat at home to Leganes.

PSG have hit 19 in six so goals shouldn’t be in short supply and bookies know it. Over 2.5 is shorter than 1-2 so try over 3.5 at 13-10 with McBookie.

With so many stars on show picking a first scorer is impossible. Neymar has been linked with Real and has netted in his last three. He loves the big stage and is not bad value at 23-18 with Unibet to score. Ronaldo is bigger at 7-5 (Paddy Power).

Tonight’s other tie sees Liverpool, who should have too much firepower with Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino on top form, travel to Porto. Back Liverpool to win at 11-8 with Betfred and take Salah to score at 13-8 (Paddy Power).
