Alex swim is monster hit

TELLY host Alex Jones jumped for joy after braving the freezing waters of Loch Ness for a charity challenge.

The star of BBC1’s The One Show joined a group of mums – including Leigh McLean, 44, from Bearsden, near Glasgow – on a gruelling fundraising mission for Sport Relief.

Alex, 40, swam the first leg of a relay in the loch. Today, the mums will climb a Lake District peak and they’ll later test themselves at cycling and caving.

She said: “This is the most special thing I have done for Sport Relief.”
