Comedians to star in show for charity
PERFORMERS at Glasgow International Comedy Festival are joining forces for a charity show.
The line-up for the gig at the Citizens Theatre on March 20 includes Fred MacAulay and Mark Nelson. It will be hosted by Mock the Week star Miles Jupp.
It has been organised by Scots Doctor Who actress Maggie Service for the Preshal Trust, a charity backed by Sir Alex Ferguson and who were set up to help people in Govan struggling with poverty, addiction, disability and mental health issues.
Maggie said: “The charity bring together people who would never normally meet each other.
“What I’m after is just a night of fantastic comedy that raises some dosh for an amazing cause.”
