KeVIN bridges has passed his driving test – 12 years after taking his first lessons.

The Scots comedian, 31, posed next to his instructor’s car clutching his prized certificate after passing the test first time on Friday.

Kevin started learning to drive when he was 18 but a busy work schedule saw the lessons take a back seat.

He reached out to his former instructor three weeks ago to begin learning again despite disruptions caused by the Beast from the East.

Clydebank-based Tony Clarke told the Record: “He said he needed my help getting him through his test and he only had a small window to do it.

“We had a lot of banter on the lessons and we bounced off each other quite well.

“But Kevin was really quick to pick things up. He’s a very clever lad and he was always on a mission.”

Replying to Tony’s tweet, Kevin wrote: “Top coach! A sad day for @Uber. Yas!”

Fans reacted using gags from the comedian’s stand-up shows. Curtinio tweeted: “Did ye, aye?” And Colin W added: “Now watch your weight balloon as you forget how to walk to the shops or the bus stop.”
