GIVENCHY, 91, DIES
THE man who designed Audrey Hepburn’s little black dress in Breakfast At Tiffany’s has died, aged 91.
French fashion star Hubert de Givenchy was part of the elite cadre of Paris-based designers, including Christian Dior and Yves Saint Laurent, who redefined fashion after World War II.
He forged friendships with clients including film stars Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor as well as former US first lady Jackie Kennedy and Princess Grace of Monaco.
He founded his own label in 1952 and sold it in 1988.
