BBC1, 9pm GreG Hemphill is back to darken our easter with his latest comedy horror, and an all-star cast.

The cynical crew of a phoney paranormal TV show must battle real-life terror, trapped inside a dilapidated manor in Long Night at Blackstone.

Faye Bowers (Lorraine McIntosh) is the host of Ghost Haunt Live, a low-rent paranormal activity show she fronts with psychic sidekick Pat Tomorrow (John Gordon Sinclair). A master of trickery and pretence, Faye is desperate to be taken seriously as a journalist so when she discovers the show is to be axed, she’s determined to go out with a bang.

Although filming starts normally enough, it soon becomes apparent all is not right and a Long Night at Blackstone beckons for Faye and her crew including producer Dominique, Charlie the cameraman, sound recordist Diane, Toby the runner and make-up artist Susie.

And, for the very first time in the show’s history, the ghosts may be real.

C4, 9pm PRODUCERS of this reality survival series have achieved new heights in the art of stirring up trouble. Give them a giant wooden spoon.

For this fifth series, two separate groups are abandoned at opposite ends of a remote uninhabited island in the Pacific Ocean. The 16 islanders face extreme tropical weather, limited resources and hazards such as shark-infested waters.

But if that wasn’t enough, Bear Grylls and co have instigated a class ABANDONED Eight of the castaways
