Basque terror group: Sorry for the violence

TERROR group ETA have apologised for the pain their armed campaign for Basque independence caused.

Vowing not to return to violence, ETA said: “We really are sorry.”

ETA, who killed more than 800 people including police and politicians, will announce their final dissolution early next month. The group gave up their violent campaign in 2011 and disarmed a year ago.
