FRASER WELL UP FOR FIGHT

MARCUS FRASER believes Ross County can stun buoyant Scottish Cup finalists Motherwell.
The defender doesn’t expect the upcoming showpiece to distract the Fir Park men from playing with their usual grit in Dingwall.
And with the Staggies finding form at a crucial stage in the relegation fight, Fraser is convinced they can grasp three vital survival points.
He said: “Everyone has different opinions on how reaching the Final might affect Motherwell.
“Will they have one eye on the Final or will they still be buoyant?
“In their shoes I’d be playing without fear – buoyant and happy – after reaching their second final of the year.
“Motherwell will come up here their usual selves – hard working and capable of causing problems for any team.
“Everyone keeps saying it, but it is true, we have five cup finals to go.
“We’ve always tended to show up well when it has been required. We’ve put up a fight and scored.”
County moved off the foot of the Premiership with their 4-0 thrashing of Thistle and Fraser hopes it’s put fear into relegation rivals Dundee and Hamilton.
He said: “Momentum is everything at this stage. Hopefully we’ll look back on that big win and say that triggered a good run.
“We have possibly put a bit of doubt and anxiety in the minds of the other teams.
“We lifted ourselves off the bottom of the table and every game is big.”
