She said: “It’s been a busy time and I’ve managed to juggle getting all my brides done, giving STV presenter Jennifer Reoch her trademark bouncy blow dry and cutting and styling the lovely Anton du Beke.
As well as taking care of my lovely brides with Asteria Bridal, I’ve been collaborating with Quiz clothing, who have released new bridal accessories.
This month’s tutorial is a really simple, easily achievable beachy wave. It would suit anyone with some length in their hair.
Using the correct products and styling tools will help you achieve the looks in my tutorials. All the products I use are available in shops or online.
I prepped the hair with Bumble and Bumble thickening spray (available at Space NK £23). This product is amazing for volume. I followed this up with Toni and Guy Refresh Spray (available from Boots stores £4.99). Although this is a classic dry shampoo, I find it gives amazing texture when used on clean hair.
To create the wave, I used a Babyliss pro-styling wand then left the curls to cool. To finish, I sprayed Kerastase Aura Botanica texturizing mist through mid-lengths and ends (available from lookfantastic.com £16).”
