Amanda overboard with RNLI

AN RNLI lifeboat launched on a mystery mission with TV presenter Amanda Holden on board.

The sailing from Oban on Sunday saw the normally glammed up Britain’s Got Talent judge ditch her high heels and don wellies, a woolie hat and life jacket.

Tweeting a photo of herself, the star gave little away about her outing, stating only: “All aboard the RNLB Mora Edith MacDonald.”

Posting another snap, the 47-year-old added: “Watching the sunset over Loch Etive, Scotland.. gorgeous day.”

Oban lifeboat station posted a photo on Facebook of crew with the star, adding: “We had a great day filming with Amanda Holden for an upcoming ITV programme.”

Crew members have been sworn to secrecy about any details of the forthcomin­g show.

A spokeswoma­n for Amanda said yesterday: “We aren’t releasing details at this time.”

The case, which also lists the Scottish Government as respondent­s, centres on Daniel’s personal independen­ce payments.

He started receiving PIP in 2013 but a DWP assessor withdrew the benefit in 2016 – following a report which Daniel claims only considered physical and not mental health.

He appealed to the Social Security Tribunal and his payments were reinstated almost a year later.
