It’s hard to survive a music festival with a full face of make-up.. so here are beauty products that’ll stay in place whether you’re in the moshpit or the dance tent

BY ANNA BURNSIDE unfragranced baby wipes, gentle enough to use on the face as well as body. A small but powerful deodorant such as Dove in travel size will last all weekend.

Clean teeth are essential to feeling human. Save precious drinking water with some clever disposable toothbrushes.

Next, sunblock. La Roche Posay’s Anthelios sunscreen comes in factors 20 and 50, in a dinky 30ml TicTac-style pack. Don’t leave it in the tent – current advice is to reapply every two hours.

Hangover hair, postrain frizz, bed head… dry shampoo and other clever powders and sprays are here to help. Puff.Me is a brilliant volumising dust in a cute pink spray. Evo’s Water Killer comes in two shades, blonde and brunette, to give a liquid-free refresh.

Festival makeup should be lightweight, sweatproof and rain resistant. Cheat a good night’s sleep and a healthy flush with Charlotte Tilbury’s Unisex Healthy Glow. (Dilute with moisturiser or primer if you are on the pale side.)

Eyeliner needs serious staying power. Boots’s Seventeen Tattoo Me Semi Permanent Liquid one is bargainous and clings like a toddler with a head cold. Lick on some mascara and then add some glitter.

It’s a festival. You have the rest of the year to wear colours called latte and suede. Unleash your inner Coachella goddess and wear something called Crystal T**s or Lick Me. (These are both from Glaswegian make-up artist Sara Hill’s range of sparkly stuff.)

Finish off with a swoosh of highlighter and a slick of lip gloss from Rihanna’s lush Fenty Beauty range. These mini sizes in her Bomb Baby set are perfect to stash for top-ups.
