For legs that are about to make their first appearance of the year, This Works has a product that moisturise­s, adds a bit of colour and has SPF 30.

It’s called Perfect Legs Skin Protector, £40, and it’s a really smart bit of stuff.

Even the humble lip balm can help protect against the sun. Greek brand Frezyderm have an impressive range of sun protection products, including a lip balm, £7.99, with SPF50.
