TWO police officers were left seriously injured yesterday after being stabbed in the street in a horror attack.

NEW Rangers manager Steven Gerrard’s personal company made £1million last year – boosting their value to £6million.

The Liverpool legend set up Steven Gerrard Promotions while still playing to channel income from sponsorship deals.

Figures show he is continuing to rake in the cash two years after he hung up his boots. Gerrard by RECORD REPORTER officially started his role as manager at Ibrox yesterday after he was announced as the new gaffer last month.

Accounts filed at Companies House for the 38-year-old’s firm show net assets of £6,312,972. That includes an investment portfolio worth £3.2million and more than £3million owed to them by debtors.

The firm made a profit of just under £1million for 2017 – slightly down on the previous year’s figure of £1.3million.

Gerrard is secretary and co-director of the company along with his brother Paul, who is a goalkeeping coach at Doncaster.

Figures also show Gerrard gave away almost £200,000 to good causes last year through the Steven Gerrard Foundation.
