LOVE ISLAND RIVALS EYE UP HOTTIE Scots air hostess Laura and singer Samira both fall for hunky trainer Adam in first serving of TV’s raunchiest dating show
LOVE Island Scot Laura Anderson has found romance with younger man Wes Nelson on the show – but admitted to having feelings for new boy Adam Collard. The 29-year-old cabin crew member is the oldest Islander in the new series and coupled up with the youngest contestant Wes, 20, who admitted before going on the show he was looking for a cougar. Laura, from Stirling, was quickly attracted to the Staffordshire hunk - not because the electrical and nuclear systems design engineer is bright but because he’s buff.
She said in last night’s opening episode: “He’s got loads of packs. He’s got like a 20 pack.”
Later in the episode, however, it seemed her head was turned by new boy Adam, saying: “My head is saying Wes and heart is saying Adam.”
At the end of the episode, Adam, the sixth boy, was set to choose a girl, breaking up one of the couples already formed. It seems Laura will be hoping it’s her. All will be revealed in tonight’s show. The ITV2 show is designed for the singletons to couple up. Temptation to change is then put in front of them. At the end of the two months, one couple will be crowned winners and get £50,000. While Laura has found early attraction with Wes, she isn’t sure. Adding to her problems, newfound best friend in the villa Samira Mighty also fancies personal trainer Adam.
When the girls confessed they both liked Adam, there was an awkward moment, with Laura admitting: “I don’t want to like the same person.”
After their chat in the beach hut, Laura admitted she and Samira’s feelings for Adam could be a sign of a storm brewing.
She said: “It’s all going to kick off, I think. Let the best woman win.”
However, it seems Adam is keeping his options open.
He made a play for Laura’s affections, telling her: “I fancy you, you’re beautiful. But all the girls are beautiful.”
