It is a horrible irony that holidays – the one part of the year when we have time to play with facepacks and want to look our fabulous glowing best – come with luggage restrictions.
If you are chucking everything into the back of the car and heading for a cottage, then fill your boots. Take all the products for a DIY facial. Give everyone a manipedi. It’s a great way to spend an evening in a country cottage.
But if you are flying, even with checked-in luggage, you will need to be more selective.
Which is where holiday minis come in. Who can resist a dinky little set of tiny bottles or a shrunken version of a family favourite? Or the luxurious prospect of a hotel bedroom spa with top-notch beauty treats, even if you are staying in a bargain basement apartment block with four to a room.
