Trump is the real-life American psycho, without the mask
FILM news and the new Halloween movie sequel released its first trailer yesterday.
If you’ve not seen the films, they’re about a mentally disturbed American psycho who can’t be killed off.
Which also sounds like the 2016 presidential campaign.
In fairness, it can’t be about Trump. Well, his hands aren’t big enough to hold a large knife.
Talking of Trump, the US president cancelled a White House visit by the Philadelphia Eagles football team because of players protesting while the national anthem plays.
This means there’s now almost as small a chance of them being spotted there as his wife. Elsewhere, Trump has granted clemency to 63-year-old great-grandmother Alice Johnson, who has been serving life in prison for a non-violent drug offence.
It came after Kim Kardashian West met the president to highlight her plight. And increase her Instagram followers.
Of course, we know why Trump did it. He needs to free up space in jails for most of his advisers.
Back to the film theme and a third movie in the Legally Blonde series could be about to happen.
Apparently in this one, Reese Witherspoon re-qualifies as a lawyer specialising in workplace harassment and sues Hollywood. An off-duty FBI agent has accidentally shot a bystander in the leg when his gun fell from its holster as he showed off some fancy footwork on the dancefloor of a bar in Denver, Colorado.
After such a careless shooting of an innocent man, he’s rightly going to be sacked by the FBI. And immediately recruited by the American police.
