Sadness as Niall leaves Love Island
BY TOM BRYANT LOVE Island contestant Niall Aslam has left the reality show villa for “personal reasons”.
Another resident of the villa, A&E doctor Alex George, 27, broke the news to the others in last night’s show on ITV2.
He said: “For personal reasons, unfortunately, he can’t continue or come back to the villa.”
Georgia Steel, who was coupled up with Niall, a 23-year-old construction worker from Coventry, said: “Obviously I came closer to him than most people in here. But it wasn’t just that. He was actually my friend, my buddy.”
The 20-year-old, a drama student living in Chelsea, added: “I’m obviously sad. I look forward to catching up with him and having fun outside.”
