Seriously ill Den actor’s UK return
GRAVELY ill EastEnders star Leslie Grantham – said to be fighting for his life – recently moved back to the UK to be near his family.
The Dirty Den actor, 71, is believed to have sold his property in Bulgaria and returned to Britain in April.
His spokeswoman said last night: “Leslie remains poorly and is being taken care of by medical staff.”
The father of three – who played Den Watts in EastEnders in two spells – moved to Bulgaria after divorcing his wife of 32 years, Jane, in 2013.
He said of his move at the time: “I am an old man now and I want to go somewhere it is hot.”
More than 30million viewers watched Den serve Angie divorce papers in 1986.
