Ant’s wife heartbroken after he finds love with one of her close pals
FRIENDS are rallying round Lisa Armstrong after she discovered Ant McPartlin is dating one of her close pals.
The TV star’s estranged wife was devastated to hear of him and his PA Anne-Marie Corbett, a 42-year-old mum of two.
Furious Lisa claimed Ant did not tell her about the relationship and that she only found out they were an item on Twitter. She later posted a broken heart emoji.
Pal Nicola McLean wished her well and she replied: “Thanks babe and to think she was MY friend!! xx”
In response to another message, Lisa, 41, wrote: “Yeah My Friend and OUR Pa who I let into OUR home.”
Another follower said they hoped Ant had “the decency to at least contact you today”, to which she replied: “Nope.”
Sources have stressed Ant was not linked to the breakdown of Anne-Marie’s marriage to husband Scott in October and he was not seeing her during his marriage.
Ant, 42, has been pictured with AnneMarie in a park near his London home.
She and Ant were last night approached for comment.
Anne-Marie has been friends with Lisa since 2012. Last year, Lisa posted a picture of them together saying: “Just hanging with my homie.”
Ant said in January he was to divorce but Lisa still wears her wedding ring and he is pictured on her Twitter profile.
He stepped down from his TV work after being caught drink-driving after a crash in London. He checked into rehab to deal with his boozing.
