DOGHOUSE Kirk with Sharon (left) and Beth CORONATION STREET

STV, 8pm EVA has a very official-looking letter waiting for her at The Rovers. Tearing it open, she looks aghast, saying: “Johnny can’t do this.” But he can and he will. He wants custody of baby Susie... and it’s going to get messy.

Meanwhile, Abi apologises to Tyrone for their disastrous date, but some bad news sends her on a destructive path. Elsewhere, Kirk is in the doghouse when Beth accuses him of having an affair with Sharon. EASTENDERS

BBC1, 9.10pm THE Slaters are shocked when they see Hayley’s online advert selling the cab for £10,000 to get Jean her money back. But Jean finds an old photo and gets nostalgic, meaning it will be tough to part with it.

Meanwhile, with Linda gone to her mum’s, Stuart heads over to The Vic. He recruits Halfway to accompany him on a predator meeting but Mick talks Halfway out of going.

Channel 4, 10pm BACK when this was a spin-off to the 2012 Paralympic Games coverage, we never expected to see it again. But it was “spit-your-tea-out” funny and now, would you believe, it’s back for its 14th series.

The secret is largely down to the chemistry between hosts Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker, who give an honest and upbeat account of the week’s news, with plenty of affectionate banter. Summed STELLAR Josh, Adam and Alex A-LIST Actors Cate and Orlando, host James and singer Niall THE LATE LATE SHOW UK SPECIAL SKY One, 10pm JAMES Corden may have made the big time in America but for one week only, he has graced his home country with specials of his hit US talk show.

The shows, from Central Hall, Westminster, in the heart of London, have been broadcast all week to more than 150 countries around the world.

Yes, it has been a meteoric rise to superstardom for the young lad we all knew as Smithy in sitcom Gavin & Stacey. Along with his house band, headed up by Reggie Watts, Corden has brought his unique brand of humour, wit and love of musical theatre back to Britain.

He always attracts A-list guests too. So far this week, he’s welcomed Hollywood stars Cate Blanchett and Orlando Bloom, One Direction’s Niall Horan, actor Damian Lewis, Star Wars’ JJ Abrams, Game of Thrones’ Sophie Turner and The Affair actress Ruth Wilson.

We’ve also seen some hilarious instalments of the show’s signature segments, Crosswalk the Musical (which really should be called Zebra Crossing the Musical) and Take a Break.

But tonight’s final episode promises to be the best yet – not only will the Foo Fighters perform but there is also the segment that Corden has been shamelessly teasing all week.

“It’s my favourite Carpool Karaoke to date,” he says as he welcomes the best-selling artist of all time, Sir Paul McCartney.

Cut to Corden on the phone to Sir Paul asking: “Hey mate, I’m in Liverpool and I’m wondering if you can help. I need somebody, not just anybody. Can you please, please help me?” Fortunately, Sir Paul obliges. up by Hills as “three guys with four legs talking about the week” – he was born without a right foot and Brooker without a right leg – no subject is off limits.

Each week, a live audience and guests from the worlds of comedy, entertainment and politics join the presenters to help dissect the latest talking points.

Hills is prone to having a rant at any moment during the broadcast and if you want to join in, the hashtag #isitok encourages lively viewer debate.
