LOVE Island runner-up Laura Anderson hopes to have a family with Paul Knops, according to her sister.

The 29-year-old, from Stirling, flew back to the UK yesterday with carpenter Paul, 31, after the pair finished second in the final of the ITV2 show, won by Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham.

The Scot’s sister Danielle Strang reckons broody Laura and Paul have a lot in common.

She said: “Laura is at that stage.

“She’s not hidden the fact she wants to settle down and have a family, not next week, but that’s her goal. I’m sure Paul probably thinks the same thing. He’s at the same age.

“Hopefully they want the same things and it works.”

Danielle, 38, and their dad David, 56, went on the show at the weekend and bonded with Paul and his family.

She said: “Paul is the nicest guy. We chatted to him quite a bit and spent a full day with his sister and his mum. They’re amazing as well – a lovely family. We’re really excited.”

Danielle doesn’t know whether the pair are planning to live together and where her sister, a former flight attendant, will settle.

She said: “I’ve no idea what her plans are going to be. She’s given up life in Dubai.

“She’ll probably be in London for a bit. I’m so excited for her.”

Laura flew from Majorca to London yesterday with Paul and the other finalists.

She admitted she was hungover after a huge party to celebrate the end of the hit show but is planning to fly up to Scotland tomorrow.

Laura told Heart Radio: “I’m just getting back to reality and I can’t wait to come back to Scotland.

“Me and Paul are coming to Stirling to do a bit of filming so I can show him round Stirling Castle for Love Island’s Aftersun next week – so that’ll be fun. Get him in a kilt.”

Danielle reckons Laura could have some interesting career options in the pipeline.

She said: “She’s a qualified hairdresser so was thinking along those lines. I think she’d be amazing at presenting.”

One TV show in particular is keen to have her as a guest.

Laura claimed she fancied This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes during her time in the villa.

Eamonn said yesterday on the show: “I’ll be talking to that Laura, don’t you worry.”
