CRISTIAN GAMBOA v BIRGER MELING COSTA RICA right-back Gamboa switched off at Rosenborg’s opener last week but was hardly alone there.

He failed to track Meling’s run at Parkhead and the wing-back produced a fine finish to put his side ahead. It was their only effort on AUSSIE ace Rogic came off the bench for the last 14 minutes of the first leg after returning from his own World Cup exertions and he could be Brendan Rodgers’s secret weapon tonight.

All three of his European goals for the club have come in qualifying rounds SCOTLAND winger Forrest enjoyed the best season of his career last time out and has been involved in five of Celtic’s nine Euro goals, scoring twice and chipping in three assists.

He also scored the only goal of last year’s tie in target though and the Norwegian internatio­nal will need to provide a threat again if his side are to overturn a two-goal deficit.

Gamboa grew into the game and impressed with his pace and determinat­ion in a first appearance for the senior side since February. TOM ROGIC v MARIUS LUNDEMO and he tends to deliver when he’s most needed.

Lundemo, 24, had a nervous night in Glasgow, struggling to cope with the Celtic players whose threat he was supposed to snuff out. With clever runs Rogic’s speciality, he could take advantage of that. JAMES FORREST v PAL ANDRE HELLAND Trondheim and Helland will face the difficult task of trying to stop him.
