Ibrox roar can help propel Gers

-

RANGERS are the only Scottish side favoured to progress in the Europa League tonight.

Steven Gerrard’s men notched a 1-0 away win at Osijek and it’s a surprise to see them as big as 20-21 with McBookie to triumph at home.

Greater demands from the Liverpool legend have been rewarded with five clean sheets.

Osijek won’t lie down but a packed Ibrox is likely to roar Rangers through. They are 1-5 to qualify, with the Croats 4-1 at Paddy Power.

Alfredo Morelos netted the away goal and followed up with a double in Sunday’s friendly against Wigan. The Colombian is 13-10 at William Hill to net again.

Plenty of eyes will be on Turf Moor for the second instalment of the Battle of Britain between Burnley and Aberdeen. The Dons did well last week but conceded a late away goal that leaves the Premier League side hot favourites to qualify at 1-6 with bet365 while the Dons are 5-1 at Marathonbet.

I’m backing Burnley at 4-11 with bet365 which is fine on accas but with the Clarets having a keeper crisis Aberdeen to score looks good at 11-10 with Paddy Power.

The Dons are 10-1 at Marathonbet with the draw 15-4 at McBookie.

Hibs battled back from 2-0 down to beat Asteras 3-2. The Greeks have lost just two of their last 12 European ties at home. Asteras are 4-5 at Marathonbet to qualify with Hibs 11-10 at Paddy Power.

To win tonight the Greeks are 3-4 with McBookie but best bets have to be on goals. Hibs’ last four competitive matches produced 32 goals so over 2.5 looks a no-brainer at 10-11 with Betfred while over 3.5 pays 23-10 with Unibet.
