Athletic Bilbao’s Kepa has joined Chelsea for a world-record fee for a goalie – just weeks after Liverpool broke it to sign Alisson. BY EUAN McARTHUR CSABA LASZLO last night told his Dundee United players not to hide behind Fraser Fyvie’s absence – and prove they can still win without him.

The Tangerines skipper has been badly missed since a cruciate ligament injury last Christmas and Laszlo insisted not having their talisman midfielder was a factor in their failed promotion bid.

Now the 25-year-old is nearing full fitness again as United strive to finally get out of the Championship at the third attempt.

But the Tannadice gaffer has urged his fringe players to stand up and show they can assume the mantle.

Laszlo said: “Fraser should be good to join the group in two or three weeks. He needs game practice so in six weeks he’ll be back.

“But I’ve told the team you can’t just wait for Fraser or Stewart Murdoch to get fit and come good. You have to deliver yourself. It’s not your job to be in the shadow of these players.”
