SWITCHED TO YOUNGER MODELS

17 years younger BY LAURA CONNOR THE end of a relationship is never easy and it must be so much harder when your partner begins dating someone who looks just like you – but is half your age.

That is what seems to have happened to singer Cheryl Tweedy, 35, since she split from Liam Payne, 24, last month.

Liam – the father of her one-year-old boy, Bear – has apparently moved on with an 18-year-old heiress. The One Direction singer reportedly enjoyed a secret date at the Bulgari hotel in London with US Instagram star Maya Henry, who is 17 years Cheryl’s junior.

Liam, 24, was first spotted with Maya – who shares Cheryl’s striking good looks and glossy brunette locks – last month at a Dolce & Gabbana gala dinner in Tremezzo, Lake Como, Italy.

But Liam is not the first star to move on with a younger lookalike of his ex... 13 years younger Johnny Depp Pirates of the Caribbean actor Depp split from Vanessa Paradis, 45, the mother of his two children, in 2012.

Three years later Depp, 55, married Vanessa’s younger lookalike Amber Heard, whose golden tresses and sculpted cheekbones are similar to those of his French actress ex.

At 32, Amber is 13 years younger than Vanessa. Aquaman star Heard filed for divorce from Depp in 2016, claiming that he had assaulted her. 24 years younger Rowan Atkinson Blackadder star Atkinson, 63, split from his wife of 24 years, make-up artist Sunetra Sastry, 61, in 2014.

He later moved in with The Windsors actress Louise Ford, also a brunette.

At 34, Louise is closer in age to Atkinson’s two children with Sunetra – Benjamin, 25, and Lily, 23 – than to his ex-wife, who 27 years Louise’s senior.

In November last year, it was reported that Atkinson and Louise were expecting a baby together. Chris Martin Following Martin’s “conscious uncoupling” from Gwyneth Paltrow, 45, in 2014, the Coldplay frontman, now 41, enjoyed a fling with another blonde American actress, Jennifer Lawrence.

At 27, the Hunger Games and Red Sparrow star is 18 years younger than Martin’s Oscar-winning ex. 18 years younger Sharon Stone Movie legend Stone married the American journalist Phil Bronstein, 67, in 1998.

However, the couple divorced after six years, and the Basic Instinct star traded Phil in for a much younger model, Martin Mica, 31. With the same thick, dark hair and brooding good looks, Mica is 36 years Phil’s junior and could be mistaken for his son. 36 years younger
