DEDRYCK BOYATA’S Celtic row is set to rumble on after the wantaway star slammed suggestions he has downed tools at Parkhead.

The Belgian international was absent against AEK amid speculation around his future after the Hoops knocked back a £9million bid from Fulham last week.

Boyata’s agent Jacques LiLiechtenstein hit out at CeCeltic for refusing to sell anand insisted his client would rerefuse to play if it meant risrisking injury.

Parkhead boss Brendan RoRodgers admitted he felt sosorry for the rest of his sqsquad and he insisted he’d rarather trust players “who wawanted to be here”.

And Rodgers insisted last nignight before kick-off that BoBoyata wasn’t injured.

He said: “Dedryck is fit bubut he’s not here with us.”

Boyata had earlier posted a vvideo of him receiving “muscularm work to come baback even stronger on the pitpitch”’ and told media in his hohomeland he was crocked.

He said: “Unfortunately I couldn’t play because I’m not yet 100 per cent operational. When I hear I’ve refused to play since I came back from vacation, it’s wrong.

“Last Thursday, I hurt myself when I slipped in training and I held my leg immediately. The physio saw it and examined me right after the session.

“I put ice on my leg for 30 minutes and the next day I specified I had pains. Exams proved I couldn’t play against Hearts. I’m doing everything I can to be ready.”

Boyata’s agent claimed his player was upset at Celtic’s refusal to do business amid interest from England, France and Italy.

He voiced anger at Celtic in the Belgian media over the weekend but he still has the backing of Boyata, who said: “I’m not going to react too much to what my agent has been saying. I trust him.”
