Lucy hails her result as a real game-changer
MEGHAN Markle will fly to the US to visit her mum within days as her dad still desperately hopes for an emotional face-to-face reunion.
Thomas yesterday admitted he was wrong to lie to Prince Harry about staging photos before the roual wedding, saying: “I made a terrible mistake which I have paid for ever since.”
The Duchess of Sussex is understood to be going BY RUSSELL MYERS ahead with a planned personal holiday to Los Angeles to see her mum Doria Ragland.
But despite being just 200 miles away, Thomas – who lives alone in Rosarito, Mexico – has had no word of whether she will see him.
Meghan, 37, has not spoken to her dad since her May 19 wedding, after he was exposed for accepting cash to stage photos looking at images of the royal couple in an internet cafe and being measured for a suit.
Since then, he has given a series of tell-all interviews where he criticised the royal family, revealed details of conversations with Prince Harry and slammed his daughter for her “sense of superiority”.

He said: “I love my daughter. I love Prince Harry. I wish them nothing but the best.”
A royal source: “The past few weeks will no doubt have been incredible stressful for Meghan and no one wants this saga to continue for her.
“Hopefully she can find some way of seeking a resolution with her father but going back to her roots for a few days is exactly what she needs right now.”
Harry is not expected to travel to LA with Meghan.
A Kensington Palace spokesman said: “We do not comment on the personal travel plans of members of the royal family.” BY JANINE YAQOOB THE wife of the world’s first transgender football referee today tells how she is standing by her partner and vows: “Our marriage will now only get stronger.”
