Duo take TV show by storm to land their dream investor

The dramatic episode saw chief executive Brian, 41, from Stirling, and Glasgow-born director of product and innovation Euan, 36, looking for £125,000 investment for a four per cent stake in their company.

The idea behind Beezer is that they offer a bespoke DIY service to let you create your own app for your business or event.

They then distribute it directly to your customers’ devices – cutting out app stores – which saves money and increases customer outreach.

With all five Dragons initially interested in their pitch, Touker Suleyman and Tej Lalvani were first to make offers, followed by Deborah Meaden.

They all agreed to stump up the requested cash but for a stake of between six and 10 per cent of the firm.

When Dragon’s Den veteran Peter got involved, he wanted 15 per cent, sparking a heated negotiatio­n.

With only Jenny Campbell declaring herself out, the rest of the Dragons then battled for the best deal.

Even though Peter wanted the biggest slice of the company, the duo opted for him because of his vast contact book.

Peter told them: “You have a potential opportunit­y with a unicorn here.”

A unicorn is a start-up tech company that reaches a $1billion market value.

Euan admitted they were buzzing when they left the den.
