ANTHOY HAGGERTY ANSWERS YOUR CALLS CELTIC keeper Craig Gordon’s decision to question the allegiance­s of the anonymous trio of former referees brought in to rule on missed offences and red card appeals sparked a flurry of calls.

First up was who said: “Gordon is opening up a massive can of worms here by questionin­g former referees’ allegiance­s.

“If he thinks that the panel are showing bias towards a particular club then he should just come right out and say it.”

said: “Here we go again. Gordon is now questionin­g former officials and who they support. What is it with Celtic and Rangers players, managers and their supporters?

“When decisions go against them they lash out at refs and play the paranoid card. They should try supporting a smaller club.”

said: “Gordon has a cheek to question any former referee’s allegiance­s.

“To say the anonymous referee panel should be unmasked and who they support should be made public knowledge is a dangerous road to go down.

“Celtic and Rangers get the majority of decisions and Gordon himself has benefitted from dodgy calls from officials in the recent past so there is certainly no agenda against his club.”

emailed: “I find it interestin­g that Gordon is slating referees using Allan McGregor’s kick out at Kristoffer Ajer as an example.

“He’d do well to cast his mind back to September 2016 when he kung-fu kicked Alloa’s Greig Spence yet received no red card. I wonder if Gordon is raging because he has been demoted to Scotland’s No.2.”
