FILLY JUST MAGICAL

- BY GARRY OWEN

MAGICAL DREAMER (3.35) can cast a spell for James Fanshawe in the Scottish Fillies’ Sprint Stakes at Ayr.

The four-year-old has done little wrong for her shrewd handler this season and oozed class when slamming the useful

Wirral Girl at Chelmsford. Proven on soft ground, talented daughter of Acclamation can take the promotion to Listed company in her stride.

GUILDHALL (1.30) will take all the beating for Ralph Beckett in the opening novice event. The son of Cityscape caught the eye when third to Rajinsky in a red-hot Sandown novice and can open his account with further progress expected.

Mike Smith can take division two of the novice contest with

FIVE AMARONES (2.0). The Alhebayeb juvenile bolted up on his debut for the Ayrshire handler at Thirsk and can give weight and a beating to some promising rivals. Richard Fahey’s

LIGHTNING ATTACK (2.30) can storm to victory in the Shadwell Stallions Nursery.

The juvenile relished soft going when just denied by the progressive Prince des Sables at Hamilton and can go one better off a fair mark.

Fahey can bag a lucrative double with COSMIC LAW (3.05) in the Harry Rosebery Stakes.

The colt bolted up in the Woodcote at Epsom and should have the class to take this Listed contest after a string of fine efforts in Group company.

The Yorkshire handler can make it three when GABRIAL

THE DEVIL (4.10) lifts the Bronze Cup.

The progressive three-yearold ran a blinder when second to Intransigent over seven furlongs at Chester and has the class to claim this big prize down in trip. TAXMEIFYOUCAN (4.45) can shade the trappy BAM Properties Ltd Handicap for Keith Dalgleish. A quality hurdler, the gelding is also pretty useful on the level and can shrug off a 146-day absence having gone well fresh in the past.

The H&V Handicap is also tight but I’m rowing in with Tim Easterby’s MAKE ME (5.20).

The gelding recorded a personal best when second to the in-form Mearing on soft conditions at Carlisle and can remains open to plenty of improvement.
