Neil Mulholland’s gelding has improved rapidly after a wind operation and cosily landed the odds on his chasing debut at Cartmel in August.
The five-year-old looks open to plenty of improvement in this sphere and can see off exciting rivals in a cracking contest.
Tony Carroll is flying on the Flat and can bag a winner over timber with KINGSTON (2.20). The in-form nine-year-old ran a blinder when third to Equus
Millar over course and distance and can resume winning ways down in class.

Promising types clash in the novice hurdle but KITIKAT (4.30) is one to side with. Jonjo O’Neill’s gelding was a good second to experienced Sofia’s
Rock on his timber bow at Worcester and can go one better.

Dan Skelton’s charge has shown some fair form on his two chase starts and this likely improver will be primed after a good run over hurdles here.
CANNY STYLE (1.40) can give top Flat trainer Kevin Ryan a rare winner over timber at Carlisle. The mare made rapid headway as a novice last season and should be fully tuned up after fair runs on the level.
RETURN TICKET (2.45) can take another step forward in the Smarkets Novices’ Hurdle.
Ruth Jefferson’s gelding built on some excellent bumper form when bolting up on his timber debut in May and can pick up where he left off.
The smarkets.com Handicap Chase is tight but O’Neill’s SKY
PIRATE (3.45) is one to side with. Useful over timber, the five-year-old chased home the progressive Drinks Interval on his fencing bow at Uttoxeter and can improve past some exposed rivals.
Donald McCain is in terrific form and can add to his tally with QUIDS IN (4.20).
The gelding was a decent fifth to Lovato over two miles on his Bangor comeback and can put that experience to good use up in trip.
