CORONATION Street actress Sair Khan is swapping the cobbles for the jungle as a contestant on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
She will be entering this year’s camp with football manager Harry Redknapp and The Chase star Anne Hegerty.
Sair, 30, joined the ITV soap in 2014 as part of its first Muslim family – and found herself under fire over one of her storylines earlier this year.
Her character, trainee factory manager Alya Nazir, seemed to get one over on Underworld boss Carla Connor when her half-brother Aidan left the factory to her in his will.
But the story caused a backlash and Sair said she stopped looking at social media to avoid trolls.
She added: “I get worried people confuse it and think it’s real life. I’m much nicer and only half as much of a b***h as Alya is.”
Fans can now watch to see if she causes a rumble in the jungle, too.
But Harry may be the one to watch, as the 71-year-old has never been afraid to speak his mind.
And who knows how he will fare in the trials, having previously admitted he would struggle to get through a day without wife Sandra to prop him up.

A source said of him joining I’m a Celebrity: “Harry is never anything less than good value. He’s had a long, interesting career and knows a lot of famous people. He’ll be fun to watch.”
The ex-Spurs, West Ham and QPR boss is believed to be pocketing more than £100,000 for doing the show.
But Anne will remember him as someone who lost cash as he crashed out of a 2016 charity episode of The Chase – on a question about football.
Harry was asked: “The tune of The Stars and Stripes Forever is used for which football chant?” He chose Glory Glory Man United and was stunned to learn it was actually Here We Go.
Anne, 60, known as The Governess on the ITV quiz, definitely has the edge on knowledge – she is a regular visitor Down Under as she also appears on the show’s Aussie version.
I’m a Celebrity kicks off next month and Holly Willoughby, 37, will join Declan Donnelly, 43, as co-host while Ant McPartlin takes time out.
Other stars confirmed are DIY SOS host Nick Knowles, 56, and Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack, 28.
