8000 back cannabis boy battle

-

KITSCH kit and garish gear are up for grabs as the late Playboy publisher Hugh Hefner’s treasured possessions go under the hammer.

The trinkets being sold off for charity include Hefner’s Playboy branded slippers, his trademark briar pipe, silk pyjamas and his personal copy of the first Playboy issue, featuring Marilyn Monroe.

The haul also features a bronze statue of Farrah Fawcett’s torso, a red silk smoking jacket, a Betty Boop figure and a comforter from the Playboy Mansion master beroom, which also features Monroe.

They go on sale at Julien’s Auctions in Beverley Hills, California, later this month. NEARLY 8000 people have signed a petition to help save a severely ill boy as his desperate mum battles for medical cannabis treatment.

Six-year-old Cole Thomson’s mother has begged the Scottish Government to allow him access to prescription medicine to save his life.

Mum-of-two Lisa Quarrell, 37, from East Kilbride, is racing to find a cure for Cole’s crippling epileptic seizures which leave him paralysed and unable to speak.

Despite new regulations which came into force on November 1, which allow doctors to prescribe medical cannabis, Cole hays been refused treatment because he suffers from the wrong type of epilepsy.

Now, Lisa is begging First Minister Nicola Sturgeon to grant her son the same treatment given to other epileptic children.
