ALEXIS SANCHEZ has been left raging after his latest snub from Jose Mourinho.
Sanchez’s relationship with Mourinho is at breaking point after the Manchester United striker did not even make the bench for the Champions League win over Young Boys on Tuesday night.
It has strengthened Sanchez’s determination to leave Old Trafford as he fears he has no future under Mourinho. Sanchez, who is on more than £500,000 a week, has told pals he wants to quit United and has set his heart on a move to PSG.
Mourinho went public with the fact Sanchez was not injured against Young Boys and there is a belief that was done to make it clear the 29-year-old was dropped.
His move to United last January – in a swap deal that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan join Arsenal – is in serious danger of becoming one of the costliest mistakes in Premier League history as Sanchez has fallen out of favour with Mourinho.
But the Chile striker’s latest exclusion was a surprise because he played in United’s win at Juventus this month and was also a sub against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Sanchez has netted just one league goal this season and his form and confidence have taken a major hit. The former Gunners star is one of several disaffected players at United who are struggling under Mourinho’s regime.
The manger is under huge pressure and knows he must get into the top four next term.
But Mourinho’s knack of reaching the Champions League knockout stage has eased the crisis, although the belief in the dressing room is he is likely to be gone by summer.
