‘Just another weekend in Scottish football with the Old Firm getting the benefit of some pathetic refereeing decisions’

Gerrard’s team than the rest and Morelos is a protected species. Decisions such as those on Sunday can no longer be filed under ‘honest mistakes’.

“A sinister smell pervades through Scottish football and even neutrals sense it. Is there a campaign to stop Celtic getting 10 in a row?”

emailed: “Just another weekend in Scottish football with the Old Firm getting the benefit of some pathetic refereeing decisions. No wonder Levein, Neil Lennon and Derek McInnes constantly get frustrated. They can’t all be wrong.”

said: “Well done Celtic on the first leg of the treble Treble. But after reading Levein’s comments is it not time the authorities did something about the referee bias towards Rangers?

“I’m not a Levein fan but on this occasion he’s right, what Rangers are getting away with is ridiculous.”

emailed: “There’s lots of debate over the Celtic penalty but what about the pictures that show Joe Lewis off his line before the kick was taken?”

said: “We had a typical football weekend. Celtic got a penalty for a handball that was accidental and not even in the box, Rangers were awarded a goal that was offside and Partick Thistle were denied a stonewall penalty.”

Finally, said: “Rangers were last top of the league in December 2011. Since then Celtic have had an unopposed clear run with no challenge or opposition.

“That’s why nobody outside Celtic thinks they have achieved much.

“Rangers are now top of the league again but more importantly much improved and on the way back. Celtic fans are saying they aren’t worried but you can smell the fear. Their dominance will soon be over.” CALL THE HOTLINE TODAY FROM 11 TILL 12 NOON on: 0141 309 3306 or email us: hotline@dailyrecord.co.uk
