X FACTOR judge Robbie Williams ended 2018 by selling out his entire second string of Las Vegas dates.

And now Sin City bosses are gunning for him to settle a long-term residency at the fancy Wynn Hotel.

One Vegas source said: “The demand for Robbie was amazing and the tickets were out the door in days.

“The promoters and hotel are now trying to work on getting Robbie for another round of shows, but there is also the concept of him becoming a long-term resident.

“It is early days, but the Wynn would like to expand their resident portfolio and Robbie’s fans have responded so well that he is genuinely a contender.

“There is ground to go on the financials and logistics but upper management at the hotel are very impressed by the figures.

“They see especially a direct link between tickets and hotel bookings – and Rob, 44, has sparked a big influx of European fans, which is great for business.”

While Sir Elton John and Sir Rod Stewart had the most high-profile Vegas residencies – both lasting seven years – ex-Bros Matt Goss and punk icon Billy Idol also enjoy long-term residencies at smaller venues. In November, the Record revealed Robbie was set to play a string of dates in the famous American hotspot next year.

But he once said: “I have zero currency in America.”

Definitely wrong on that one...
