Alesha’s all-night house party

- BY BEVERLEY LYONS

ALESHA Dixon rounded off her Hogmanay in traditional style – at a house party.

The star went straight from bringing in the bells with Jackie Bird on BBC1’s Hogmanay Live to the bash at the home of her manager Malcolm Blair in Bearsden, near Glasgow.

There she danced and snacked on crisps and sausage rolls.

She enjoyed it so much she stayed up all night and looked worse for wear when she was dropped off at the airport just a couple of hours later.

Malcolm told the Daily Record: “Alesha loved performing with the band at Glasgow’s Old Fruitmarket. Straight after it, she was still very much in a partying mood and she and the band were keen to enjoy some real life Scots hospitality.

“As soon as the BBC show finished, we jumped into a taxi and headed back to mine. She’s about to get very busy in the New Year so it was a real chance to relax and have some fun.”

In videos from the night, Alesha can be seen giggling and tucking into a bowl of snacks as the music plays.

Malcolm said: “A good night was definitely had by all. When I dropped them off at the airport for their 2pm flight the next day they were all in a bit of a daze.”

Alesha hosts The Greatest Dancer which starts on Saturday and begins auditions for BGT on January 18.

She is also toasting the success of her recent children’s adventure book Lightning Girl.
