WITH the post-Old Firm bickering entering its third week the Premiership can’t come out of cold storage quick enough.

At least the Scottish Cup at the weekend gives us hope of having fresh talking points other than John Beaton, Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Christie’s goolies.

Alan Clark emailed: “The paranoia from Celtic fans (about the referee mostly) is understandable because they’d rather believe in conspiracy theories than face their biggest nightmare. Rangers are back.”

Another reality check. Gordon Ashley, Ayr, said: “Rangers fans talking about £12million for Morelos need a lie down.

“Celtic got £20m for Moussa Dembele for goals against PSG and Man City in the Champions League.

“Goals against Livingston and Kilmarnock and none in about games against Celtic will bank £5m tops.”

Scott Arfield’s gloating about putting Scott Brown in his place by repeating his famous arms aloft celebration ruffled a few green feathers too.
