Casino man in street stab horror
BY JACKIE GRANT A MAN was stabbed repeatedly in a brutal attack outside a casino in the early hours of yesterday.
Two thugs assaulted the 37-year-old near the Grosvenor Casino in Glasgow’s Glassford Street.
Police say the victim – who managed to make his way home and call an ambulance – appeared to have been in the company of his attackers earlier in the night.
The pair fled the scene at about 5.45am after knifing the man in the back and body. The victim’s condition was described as stable yesterday.
Police are hunting the attackers and have appealed for information.
Detective Constable Paul Houston said: “This was a violent attack and extensive inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and trace the individuals involved.”
