Blaze on 7th floor of flats

FIRE crews tackled a blaze at a block of flats in Edinburgh yesterday.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene in Heron Place, Granton, at 9.28am. Several fire engines attended.

A spokeswoman said: “Firefighters extinguished the fire on the seventh floor. There are no casualties.”
