Magic billions

IN THEIR letters on Saturday, Hamish Leishman and Dennis Forbes Grattan claim that somehow the SNP is irresponsibly causing people to die in our hospitals and lowering Scots life expectancy.

Maybe both could now write in to explain to us all how Richard Leonard or Ruth Davidson will magically find extra billions out of a shrinking Barnett formula budget to throw at the NHS, education and our councils and make life perfect.
