“Me and my husband have done it – it’s just a swab in the cheek. It’s a simple thing to do but such a big gift that means saving someone’s life if you’re donating bone marrow.

The proud mum revealed Chloe has been brave and positive about her treatment, saying: “Apart from injections as a baby, she’d never had anything before all this happened.
“But now she’s had so many blood tests and that many needles and three operations and not once has she complained.
“She knows what cancer is and when she was told that’s what it was she said, ‘It’s fine because medicine will make me better’.
“When she was told she’d have to have chemo and probably lose her hair she said, ‘It doesn’t matter, it will grow back and I can have a wig’.
