MEET the feisty Scot who is about to explode on to our television screens.

Tara Walls dubs herself the Scottish Kim Kardashian. And she will quickly make her mark on the rebooted UK version of The Bachelor, which starts next week.

In episode two, 21-year-old Tara will be seen pushing and shouting at a rival – but she wasn’t fighting over the hunk Alex Marks she and 16 other girls will be competing for.

Instead, the no-nonsense barber from Alloa was standing up for her pal, fellow Scot Frankie Maddin.

Tara said: “Nobody messes with us Scots. I was just backing up my girlfriend.”

The new series, filmed in South Africa, kicks off on Monday. And pocket rocket Tara, who loves posting saucy snaps on Instagram, is set to stand out – sometimes for all the wrong reasons.

Her fight with Essex girl Alicia Oates, 25, was such a stooshie that it’s been used as a trailer tease for the series.

Witnessing the scene, personal trainer Alex, 31, says: “Not sure I would wish this on a worst enemy.”

Tara admitted: “To be completely honest, I’m not 100 per cent sure what was going on. Alicia was basically shouting at my friend Frankie so I jumped in.

“We made up afterwards. We all laugh about it now. I’m friends with all the girls on the show.”

Far from being embarrassed that the fight is being used to publicise the new series, Tara is happy to have the airtime.

She said: “It’s better to have a moment. You’ll definitely see my loud personality across the programme.

“You have to stand out and not sink into the background.”

Tara first got herself noticed in last year’s Celebs

Go Dating, where she was teamed up with Sam Craske of dance troupe Diversity.

She caused some dropped jaws when she told him her go-to move on a date was to “laugh with your boobs”, while laughing and jiggling her breasts.

Tara has a privileged life and claims her family are the Scottish Kardashians.

She lives at home with her parents and brother – but her dad has a family of 12 and the extended family are in and out of each other’s lives like the Los Angeles clan.

While she’d love cameras to come to her house to do a Kardashians-style reality show, she also loves her job cutting guys’ hair.

She said: “I love my job. But I also love and enjoy doing reality TV – and I’m really good at it as well.”

The UK version of The Bachelor, adapted from the US show, first aired on BBC3 between 2003 and 2005. There were then two series in 2011 and 2012 on Channel 5, which will also air the reboot hosted by Mark Wright.

Alex has to decide, through a string of challenges and dates, which of the 17 girls he sees a future with. He eliminates them one by one until only the winner is left.

Tara was the youngest contestant on the show. The oldest was 36.

She is back in Alloa now but wouldn’t reveal whether Alex is part of her life.

However, she said: “I’m doing these shows for experience.”

And she added: “I’m looking for love for all the right reasons. There’s no point in me doing these shows if I don’t want that.”

But has being on these shows made her think about guys differently?

Tara said: “I’m not looking for love in Alloa. No disrespect but I want to aim higher.”

Alex certainly seems to fit the bill.

Tara said: “He was the perfect bachelor. He’s tall, dark and handsome, is polite and has loads of chat.

“All the girls loved him. He’s the full package. He’s my type.” So did she get a kiss? She laughed, adding: “I can’t tell you that. There are some amazing dates, for sure.” The Bachelor UK starts on Monday on Channel 5 at 10pm.
