SOME of the most famous managers, coaches and athletes in the world have come together to deliver the ultimate team talk ahead of the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi.

The sporting superstars shine a light on intellectual disability in a film called Rallying Cry.

It’s part of a build-up to the Special Olympics, where a 128-strong British squad – 41 of them Scottish – will compete in 17 sports.

Today, the Scots will fly to London to meet up with the rest of Team GB before travelling to Abu Dhabi tomorrow.

They will have a few days to acclimatise to the hot weather before the Games open next Thursday.

More than 7500 athletes from 200 countries will take part.

Rallying Cry will help get Team GB in the mood. In the film, sporting stars and some BY VIVIENNE AITKEN v.aitken@dailyrecord.co.uk Special Olympians read lines from Walter D Wintle’s poem The Man Who Thinks He Can.

Among those featured are Scots judo star Harrison Lovett and rhythmic gymnast Amy Clark.

“He’s off to represent his country at the World Games. I’m extremely proud of him.”

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and England football boss Gareth Southgate also take part in Rallying Cry.

They are joined by Olympic and Paralympic gold medallists Jade Jones, Ellie Simmonds and David Weir, figure skater Michelle Kwan, former boxing champion David Haye and ex-Arsenal footballer Alex Scott.
