Flying in Ryanair Chase could cost you dear

-

A FOOTBALL fan was jailed after attacking Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish on the pitch during the match at Birmingham City. And he’s now facing an even more serious punishment.

The polis are letting him run onto the field of play again – this time at a Conor McGregor cage fight while holding a mobile phone.

That’s right, UFC champ McGregor has been arrested in Miami for smashing a fan’s phone as they tried to take pictures. Conor might not be as tough as he was.

Apparently the phone’s confident about winning a rematch.

Sticking with sport, a former Royal Marine who lost his leg in an accident has completed the fastest unsupported solo row across the Atlantic, breaking the able-bodied record by 36 days. Well done. But bad news mate. After doing that the Government’s announced they’re stopping his disability benefit.

Meanwhile, the Cheltenham festival has been everywhere, with many Irish horses making the trip over the water. Next year the Irish will be sending some of their best hurdlers. As they’ll need to jump over a hard border to get there. JOCKEY Bryony Frost has been celebrating after making Cheltenham Festival history by becoming the first female jockey to ride a top-level Grade One winner there.

Her mount Frodon landed the Ryanair Chase.

Bryony deservedly won thousands in prize money – minus the surcharge Ryanair made her pay for flying round the track.
